How can I sign up for the CCRAtravel.com booking portal?
Any agency or individual agent can sign up on CCRAtravel.com. All that is required is your travel agency ID (i.e. CLIA, IATA, ARC, Travel Sellers.com, True ID, TID). There are no fees, no costs.

Do you carry all of the different hotel chains?
Yes, CCRA offers you access to all hotel inventories that are available on all the GDS's and on most of the Web.

Will I find the lowest possible rate on CCRAtravel.com?
Yes, all CCRA member hotels guarantee CCRA that your clients will not find a lower non-restricted rate via any distribution channel, including the hotel website. CCRA aggregates hotel inventories from the Web, GDS and true Net Rate providers, giving you access to the widest selection of inventories available in one place. CCRA Net Rate Inventory Symbol Net Rates are usually preferred as you control your mark-up amount and when you get paid.

Which rate type should I choose?

What is the significance of highlighted hotel listings?

Marriott hotels offer lowest available rate to CCRA, without requiring a travel agent to search by rate code. All Marriott hotels are in partnership with CCRA and provide the CCRA rate guarantees.

How do I view hotel room details?
Select the property, check availability, and place your cursor over the word MORE at the end of the room description for a pop-up box that contains more details.

How do I cancel a booking that I previously made?
To cancel any reservation click on "View/Cancel" located in the upper left corner. All cancelled reservations will be noted in red. Remember, all CCRA Net Rate Inventory Symbol Net Rates are pre-paid and are non-refundable.

How many rooms can I book at once? Can I book multiple rooms?
CCRAtravel.com allows you to book up to 4 rooms in one transaction on Net or Internet Discount rates.  Promotional or CCRA preferred rate inventories can be "cloned" for multiple booking.

I need a property located near the airport. How can I find that?
You have three options available:

  • Search by the Airport zip code, which will return all inventories within that zip code.
  • Search by Airport Code and choose hotels that have Airport in the name.
  • Search by Airport Code and advance search by hotel chain. Most hotel chains differentiate their airport hotels. Example: Miami Airport Marriott.

How do I modify a booking? (dates, bedding)
Presently, hotel bookings cannot be modified in the CCRA booking portal. Promo or CCRA bookings must be cancelled and the reservation re-booked. Agents may call the property or property chain to make the requested change, while making sure that they keep their current hotel confirmation number. Make certain you are fully aware of any cancellation penalty prior to making changes to any Promo or CCRA rate booking. All pre-paid bookings have penalties associated with any changes or cancellations. Non-refundable rates do not allow any changes.

How do I book a room for more than 2 people?

  • Net and Internet Discount Search. Simply fill out the number of adults and children (drop down menu) during your city search and CCRA will return the inventory that meets your multiple person requests.
  • Promotional and CCRA (GDS) inventories. Select 2 adults from the drop down menu, then search for the correct bedding type and look for extra person fees in the room policy and in the hotels general information by clicking on the hotel name.

How do I check to see if breakfast is included for properties in Europe?
Click on the property name in the list of properties accessed from the city search and review the property details.

How do I activate my Trams ClientBase account to work with CCRAtravel.com?
Simply log into your Agency account and check the 'Yes' box next to the 'Enable Trams' field label.

What's the difference between Net, Preferred and Promotional rates?
Using our pre-paid CCRA Net Rate Inventory Symbol Net Rate, you can set your own commission at the time of the booking and you are guaranteed to get paid with commission within two weeks. Using any other options, such as Internet Discount Rates (Hotels.com) or the CCRA Preferred Rate, your commission mark-up is limited to 6%.

After my online training, can I still get help with quick questions?
Yes. Click on the Travel Agent Support image at the top right of every screen on the CCRAtravel.com Portal to email your questions.

Who can I contact if my client has a problem with a reservation?
If a traveler needs your assistance with a reservation, phone support for the CCRA Travel Booking Portal is available 24/7. Phone 877-CCRA-006.

Common Error Messages top of page

"This transaction cannot be processed."
The transaction was declined because of an error in the credit card data. Either the address provided did not match the address on file for this credit card, the credit card number is invalid, or the credit card verification number was incorrect. Please make the appropriate corrections and try your booking again. If this error persists, please select another card or contact service@ccrainternational.com. Do not resubmit the same card data, as multiple invalid attempts may cause multiple authorizations on the credit card account.

If your error message looks like this: Code: DISPCACHE-WRP-00300 Message: 30I0207243, 6547GR-ALL-SWS GFC-002 Incoming contract id 30I0207243 has expired or could not be found, please restart the booking process.
It has been over 30 minutes since you generated the room list for this hotel. Please return to the room list page and click the refresh button on your browser to refresh all booking data and ensure that you are booking the most up to date room availability information.

"The organization suffix of your email address is invalid."
This error message indicates that the email address provided is incorrect. Specifically the organization. For example: emailaddress@yahoo.com may have been mistakenly input as emailaddress@yaho.com. Please correct the email address and try your booking again.

"The release in the service has been exceeded..Error when booking the services."
CCRATravel.com bookings are confirmed in real-time therefore occasionally from the time the room list is requested to the time of booking, the release date may close. This means that the hotel has closed their inventory and reservations are no longer accepted for the check-in date. Please select a different hotel and proceed with your reservation request.

"A valid first and last name of one adult guest must be specified for each room you wish to reserve."
If you are booking more than 1 room, a unique adult name must be supplied for each room. The same name may not be used to reserve more than 1 room - each room must be reserved with a different guest name.

How long does it take to receive commission payments?
Commission payments vary depending on the type of inventory chosen; however, CCRA issues commission checks weekly as follows: Enhanced Commission Program COMMISSION/Express commissions are at the time of booking and paid within 10 days. Markups to CCRA Net Rate Inventory Symbol Net Rates are also paid within 10 days of the booking date. Commissions for CCRA Preferred Promotional GDS Rate (Promotional & CCRA rates) are confirmed directly from Property inventory and are subject to individual hotel policy and normally based on the completion date of the stay. Commission, if applicable, is paid by CCRA within 10 days of receipt of payment from the hotel, which is normally 30-45 days after guest checkout. How can I be sure that I will receive commission credit for my bookings?
Your login is tied to your agency's IATA/CLIA number. That number is directly tied to your agency's CCRA I.D. number.  The agency's tax ID is required in their agency profile.

I don't see a place to do a mark up for my commission. I tried to click on the CCRA Net Rate Calculator tool Calculator at the top of the page of rooms listed and nothing happens. Why?
The CCRA Net Rate CCRA Net Rate Calculator tool Calculator is used to calculate your Agent Mark-Up for CCRA Net Rate Inventory Symbol Net Rate inventory. Click on the Net Rate Calculator icon in the same row as the room type you have selected.

Is my commission always 100% guaranteed?
To take advantage of the 100% guaranteed commission, always use Enhanced Commission Program COMMISSION/Express 15% commissionable or pre-paid CCRA Net Rate Inventory Symbol Net Rates offered by CCRAtravel.com. Travel consumers are accustomed to buying pre-paid services online. It's time the professional travel service providers enjoy the same convenience and security that pre-paid booking services provide. The CCRAtravel.com booking portal is your best option for getting commissions paid in a timely manner, as well as guaranteed. If you experience a delayed payment, check with your travel agency to make sure the agency profile information, such as tax ID, is up to date in the CCRAtravel.com system. Commission payment can only be sent if the required tax ID data is on record.

What are GDS rates?
GDS rates are the traditional rates that hotels provide via the Global Distribution Systems (GDS's) such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo/Apollo, and Worldspan.

What rates are available via the GDS category?
Any rate that a hotel offers via Amadeus is available via the GDS category, including Promotional, Rack, Member and CCRA negotiated rates.

How do I tell which rates are accessed via the GDS?
GDS rates are marked with the Promotional GDS Rates Inventory Symbol and  CCRA Preferred Rate Hotel Program Inventory Symbol icons on the portal.

How quickly will I receive my commission for GDS bookings?
Hotels pay GDS commissions anywhere from one week to six months after guest departure. CCRA sends the commission to you within one week of receiving it from the hotel. Additionally, CCRA tracks the status of the commission on your behalf.

What commission amount should I expect for GDS reservations?
Typically hotels pay 6% for GDS reservations. CCRA charges 1% of the reservation amount as a commission collection and administration fee.

What is the guest payment policy for GDS reservations?
Typically, hotels charge the guest credit card as a guarantee with the guest charged a one-night fee for cancelling the reservation within 24-hours of arrival.

Are GDS reservations pre-paid?
No, GDS reservations are paid by the guest upon check-out.

Can I set the commission I want to earn for GDS reservations?
No, the hotel sets the commission policy and amount for a GDS reservation.

How will I track my commissions for GDS bookings?
All reservations and their associated status can be tracked via web-based reporting in the CCRA portal.

Whose IATA number is in the reservation record?
The CCRA IATA is used for CCRA portal bookings.

These are pre-paid CCRA Net Rate Inventory Symbol rates that CCRA obtained from wholesalers and is making available to any CCRAtravel.com user. CCRA will process the credit card supplied for the reservation, paying commissions within two weeks of booking.

How much commission can I add?

Just one, Non-refundable. Non-refundable rates protect your entire commission and are paid within two weeks of booking, even if the guest has not arrived at the hotel property yet.

When do I receive my commission?
For Non-refundable pre-paid CCRA Net Rate Inventory Symbol Net Rates you'll receive all of your commission within 2 weeks of booking.

How do I track my commissions?
CCRAtravel.com has real-time web reports that show all activity related to your account, including the status of each reservation and associated status of commission.

Where does the hotel inventory come from?
CCRA has contracted with a variety of Wholesalers to bring you a wide assortment of rates to which you can add your commission.

How do I know who to call if my client has customer care issues at the hotel?
You'll be notified on the reservation confirmation of the identity of the wholesaler product provider and their customer service phone number.

Does the booking count toward my agency GDS segment credits?
Since the CCRA CCRA Net Rate Inventory Symbol Net Rate bookings are accessed from non-GDS suppliers, no GDS segment is counted to your agency or CCRA.

How can I identify a Hotels.com rate?
Hotels.com inventory is designated by the Internet Discount (Hotels.com) Inventory Symbol "Internet Discount" icon.

How much commission does my agency receive for an Internet Discount?
Your travel agency will receive 6% commission for any consumed Hotels.com reservation.

How quickly will I receive my commission for a Hotels.com reservation?
Hotels.com pays commissions to CCRA on the 17th work day of the month following guest check-out. CCRA pays your travel agency within one week of receiving the payment from Hotels.com.

How can I track my Internet Discount reservations and associated commissions?
Any reservation booked through the CCRAtravel.com portal can be tracked through our real-time web reports.  Just click on "Reports" at the top menu on the portal.

Can I set the commission amount on an Internet Discount booking?
No, the Hotels.com reservations pay a 6% fixed commission. This is 2% more than the amount you would earn booking directly through the Hotels.com web site.

Does an Internet Discount booking count toward my agency GDS segment credits?
No, the Hotels.com inventory is booked outside of the GDS processes.

How do I know who to call if my client has customer care issues at the hotel?
You'll be notified on the reservation confirmation of the Hotels.com customer service phone number.
